D-Week
Its really been a tiring and stressful week for me.. All of a sudden the role of CPC fell to me.. In case all u non-military ppl are wonderin, it stands for Cadet Platoon Commander. Now now there's nothing to be jealous of this despite it sounding prestigious, cos its not much more than a clueless person trying to tie loose ends together..
Truth be told, it was a lot of fun; challenging in fact. Runnin up and down looking for instructors and lecturers, calling them, getting @#$%ed when things somehow go wrong.. its a good challenge for handling stress, makes u think and act faster to solve problems that crop up (and they always do) >< I think I really gained much from this experience, yet i'm really relieved for this responsibility to be passed on the the next lucky.. or should i say unlucky guy.
Not to mention this gives me the opportunity to stand out a lil more, to be recognised by the course.
Course IC, bleedin noses, late cadets and miscomms, all these were events over the week. Well details are..shall we say restricted? lol sorry but as an SAF personnel, some things shouldn't be said ya?
Now i see this new CPC going through what I went through, and i can see myself doing the same things the past few days. Pretty much tickles my bones haha! Best of luck Joseph, it'll soon be over, don't take the stress too hard ya? It'll soon be over.. Work hard with your CPS 'cos takin over everything by yourself is way too hard and stressful..
Thanks to my CPS Ivan for all his help! U've been a great help!
