For the Longest Time

Woo! I've really had a blast of a week! It ain't everyday when a gunner is truly happy with the week.. Indeed this week has been really enjoyable for me in every way.

Firstly, its simulator training. We get to finally feel like gunners as we gunned down in-bound bogeys all by ourselves, or teamed up in order to track and shoot down enemies despite the challenges of jamming. It was really fun (well unless you were waiting for your turn). I can't really give any details though, cos it could be classified XD i don't wanna have to kill anyone! Nonetheless it gave a respite from all the physical work we are used to. Not to mention the nights off we recieved during the week, which is a record 2 in a week! Sounds pretty pathetic now that I see it, mistral gets 5 days nights off as a norm lol..

Even SOC was good! Haha finally I managed to clock 9.24 mins for the trial test, after taking off all that sand cans. Think I have a bit more confidence now.. It is 1 test I must not fail at all costs.. No looking back now.. I really wanna pass out in March 06!

We had a Chistmas party at AFS which was really quite an event. Each course had to put up a performance, and the Gunners performed an acapella of the song "For the Longest Time". We had a lot of fun putting up that song, though perhaps the actual one wasn't that nice.. But our week was thus filled with singing, something I really miss while in camp. I wish everyday could be like this.. Its a beautiful song indeed..
