Hoppin Hurdles

Had our SOC final test on Wed.. now it was a damn important test cos failing means the threat of getting out of course ie to say fail.. Thats something no 1 wants to happen to them. Failing to meet the timing of 9.30 mins would be a nightmare..

Needless to say.. I myself was worried. Cos the previous test I got a timing of 9.24 mins.. There was the possibility of failing lor.. So the day arrived, and the whole 19th WSO was all ready for the test, SBOs, rifles and stuff.. Anticipation and nervousness abound. I was in the first detail so all the more stress >< on the word 'GO' we were off.. 8.56 mins later I crossed the finish line. I was really suprised at the result. Now thats nothing impressive or anything, cos i'm like one of the slowest la.. sigh.. at least won't go through the pain again right?

Thats one hurdle crossed.

Now 3 more are coming up. Tech deployment, EX Tryout and the main event Summex. Confidential stuff, so I won't say much, but its our outfield exercise where its pretty darn close to the real thing.. Limited sleep over a number of days etc.. (something I can't handle so well) But once its all over, can smell the No.1 uniform and the 1 bar rank..
