Zegapain
Zegapain

Haha its not often I recommend an anime. But I think I should really recommend this one. Its called Zegapain. Its a pretty mecha-based anime, and the drawings ain't that nice. In fact, the robots of war, or Zegas, look like some Megazord from Power Rangers. Lol even sometimes the animations look cut out repeatedly in certain scenes.

Nonetheless, the story actually drew me in. Its mainly (i think) themed on life and the importance of it. Might be a little confusing at first, but everything kinda explains itself well. Haha try it! (Zhi Ai hint hint ^^)

Paradox
Paradox

After a week of numerous duties, I finally get a long-awaited break. Doesn't help to find out that I still got 21 days of leave to clear, which is nearly impossible considering the things ahead of me. Maybe I should reall go plan what to do with all these days..

Nonetheless, why do I feel this way? Stuck at home and its raining outside.. wanted to do so many things today.. But the rain just dampens the spirit, not to mention the sleep inducing effects of it..

Weekend is gone this week.. sigh.. but at least I still got to see her..

Paradoxes of life really revealed themselves to me.. An unhappy off-day? Unhappy when theres no work to be done? Even hanging out playing the PSP in the comms room somehow washed me with a bit of boredom. Whats the balance between work satisfaction and work saturation. Or even work dilution?

When I headed over to tutor Juliana.. Somehow it felt good that I was doing something productive, something helpful.. Now, at the keyboard of the computer or the console of the PS2, it was like going through the motion.. "Ben >> bored with games??" Pretty much an unlikely scenario.. but why?

Would love to dismiss it as a natural transition to adulthood, but is it true? Is this growing up? Maybe I have got issues I don't even know about? Indeed, human behavior and thinking is so complex. Can anyone fully comprehend the heart?

Completed the Proud Mode of KH2 just now after a long delay. Hurray! Oh well the extra bonus trailer was pretty interesting ^^ a KH3? who knows? lol.. Guess I'll cheer up and head out soon. Can't let a bit of rain put me down ya? Gambatte ne! I'm gonna be happy!

There are many worlds, but only one sky. One sky, one destiny - KH2

Action Packed!
Action Packed!

Whew! Was a great day today. Extremly physically involving. As I type this now, I'm feeling really tired out from everything I did today. Haha, but it feels really good. Haven done anything like this for a long time.

Soccer in the morning, followed by a trip down to Changi Airport to send off Bro Paul (Take Care! Gonna miss ya!) then back to Jess' house for a swim, sauna bath and our all-time favourite: Furobath with Kelvin and Cheng Siong. This is a nice stone tub filled with hot water. Haha its so hot that it feels cold and your fingers and feet go numb. But the feeling of relaxation is unbeatable. Of course, we couldn stay long and came out sweating, light-headed, even panting a little. Whew! Then it was back to the pool, which we soon forsook cos of the lousy sun. We headed for the sauna instead. Wonders of wonders, I fell asleep inside! Madness.. woke up sweating from the humidity with a little headache..

But I really miss days like this. Haven really had so much sports and games followed by a nice relaxation period. Feels so very good. This month ain't so good.. so many weekend duties.. Sigh..

RSAF Open House
RSAF Open House

The last few days were days full of activities, and mind you, it was away from the place I call my office. Haha.. how I dread going back to my office.. oh well, nonetheless, the great guys that I work with each day are always there with me right?

Friday: RSAF Open House. Time: 0545H. Feeling really groggy, me and buddy PY got dressed ready for the whole day's worth of manning the various stations. Meeting the rest of the crew, we headed down to PLAB, where the RSAF Open House was held. And the day started, as the crowds started trickling in. As Friday was meant for only organised groups and schools, the crowd was kept manageably small ^^ ADA equipment as static as they are, failed to really draw much interest. However, as we powered up the weapon which we both love and hate and started doing our routine system check, a small crowd started to gather.

The Joyrides had begun. Clambering up the left and right sides of the gun, the visitors young and old, big and small, guys and gals alike, took their turn at the experience of being a gunner. Happily swinging around these visitors with the joystick, indeed, we had much fun! We even managed to draw a number of excited screams from some of them.

The day passed reasonably quickly, thanks to the company provided by my fellow coursemates of the various weapons systems. Haha I even tried a hand at the Mistral Simulator. Had quite a bit of fun! I'm a Mistral operator now! haha..

The guys that we are, of course, there was some chick hunting. At the end of the day, it was a pretty big disappointment. Total count for me: 3. Haha maybe it was really just the wrong audience. Oh well, doesn't matter, happily attached! ^^ dun kill me dear! Nonetheless, It was really funny when we mock-scolded the FDS guys for taking and storing pictures of one of them. Haha..

At the end of the day, with a new shade of skin colour, I headed home.. No.4 and all, fighting the Z monster for the long trip back home from Eunos. Perhaps I should have changed to civi, then can sleep all the way le.. instead of preserving the officer's image. Haha.. oops!
