The Road to EscapismOnce again, another break from blogging. Haha.. not sure why, but lerthargy has been setting in these few days.. Perhaps its the stress from the past weeks slowly coming on to me..
But looking forward, it seems to be pretty much clear skies for me. A little breather before work piles up again. So for now, Im contented with the sweet respite given. Really need to find some way to make use of this period of time fully to recuperate and spend some quality time with her. Sorry dear.. lemme wash away my fatigue first k? Then we can have more fun le.. still owe you a few trips ^^
For the past weeks, there were so many times that I wanted to just run away. To run away from work the stuffy offices the stuffy Singapore urban air the stuffy environment of humans thronging every street and road. Thinking back on my not too recent holiday to Koh Samui, I remembered escape, bliss and relaxation. No troubles. Any talk of work quickly crushed by my fellow travellers.
How I missed it.
Eagerly waiting for the next trip to come. Bali?? Haha.. hoping that that can become a reality for us.. Heh.. lookin at Justin's blog with all those pictures really made fond memories return.. Think me and JR really miss the company being the only ones remaining in the Unit. Peng Yu come back?? ^^ Haha..
Anyways the Youth Fellowship had its Kayaking Event at East Coast last Saturday. Pretty much an escape that I wanted. Sun, sand, and sea. I think I really like the beach now.. Pictures to come!! On the whole, I was pretty satisfied with the event. We all had fun. Really hope activities can pick up so that we can carry on with increased momentum for God.
Stay hungry, stay foolish!
