And so our dear Ming Gang became the next to join the aging family of new adults in our gang. Finally 21, but somehow, for that day, the 21 year olds were behaving far from 21 year olds.

The day started of pretty normally, with the 7 of us wowed as we were led into a private room of Sun with Moon Japanese Restaurant @ Wheelock Place. Excited! Somehow I guess my manly charms got the waitress to give us the premium room eh? Just kidding.. turns out its only cos they were at full house so to squeeze in my booking of 8 they gave us this room.

While we mulled over the menu, trying to figure out what to eat.. we waited for the usual late suspect. And the food came!

The food was simply delicious! But the portion was too little.. Not long after Janice, who was visibly still hungry quickly rushed us off to alternate location for more food: NYDC. There, the gang, a little embarrassed by the crowd, nervously sang the birthday song for our birthday boy!

Then we went a little kiddy..

But i guess the howler of the day was due to this animal.. situated on the top of a shelf some 2 meters plus up, 5 meters away..

Ming Gang: eh that monkey very cute!

Kang Tai: No la.. its a dog right?

Bong: Nah.. lion la..

Janice: Hippo-po!

Time really stood still for awhile for me then. Unfreeze. Then I burst out laughing.

Oh well.. howler of the night. Guess even Da Jie can get quite kiddy too..

Anyways the prize presentation came and we handed our lucky boi his present. A Shirt and Vest.
