Reunion + Birthday + Hike

Alrights, this is a pretty belated post for Monday, which also happens to be Vesak Day. On a horribly hot and humid day, me and Vanessa went to climb a hill in search of the place the Wing's Team was supposed to eat at: Wild Rocket @ Emily Hill. And find it we did, after a lot of walking in circles when we asked some guy that was recommending houses to a family.

Sweating like pigs and about to die, we realized we had passed right by it. That was cos:
1. It was closed for the day
2. It was in a hotel that was partially under renovation
3. It was way smaller than i imagined.

Nonetheless it looked like a real beautiful place, and the aircon was fantabulous. We just flopped into a couch and took in the cool aircon till we pretty much just wanted to sleep till the security guard started hinting that we had to leave. Lol. Sweet respite.

Anyways went down to Rail Mall after that to meet some of the youths and Sis Anna who had just returned. Ate some chinese fare (Fishball Noodles and the such) then we headed to her in-law's home to kinda celebrate Eudora's belated bdae. Haa.. dun think we really managed to suprise her but oh well..

We had quite a nice time.. its really good to be back in S'pore.. haha.. indeed its where I belong.
